For Tweens
Intro to Clay
In this fun and engaging 2-hour pottery class, tweens (ages 10–13) will explore the exciting world of hand-building while creating unique and functional pottery. Each session focuses on a different project—whether it’s a mug, lidded jar, plate, or sculptural form—giving students the chance to experiment with coil, slab, and hand-building techniques. Along the way, they’ll learn the fundamentals of clay construction, surface decoration, and design while developing confidence in their creativity. Perfect for beginners, this class encourages tweens to get hands-on, problem-solve, and craft pieces they’ll be proud to use and display!
All projects will be kiln-fired and ready for pickup after class. No experience needed—just bring your imagination and get ready for some clay-filled fun!
