Beginner Wheel

Mondays 6pm-9pm

8 Weeks

January 6th - February 24th

Over eight weeks you'll learn how to craft your own functional pottery from start to finish. Kyra leads this comprehensive workshop covering everything from clay preparation to shaping pots. Whether you’re a complete novice or need a refresher, this course sets you on the path to confidently create ceramics on the wheel. Who knows, you might find yourself so enamored that you join our Co-op!

Students will learn about the stages that clay goes through—from wet, to leather-hard, to bone-dry—and about the hand tools used for trimming and creating texture on pots.

Skill Level: This workshop is ideal for folks with zero experience to those who've had a few lessons but need a refresher to improve their technique.

Special Treat: A final session potluck to celebrate your incredible journey!
